E-mail Setup Instructions
Every e-mail program (Outlook Express, Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, etc.) requires certain information in order to send and receive e-mail. Springnet1 supports customers with hundreds different domain names, the portion after the @ symbol in an e-mail address.
For illustration of these setup instructions, the fictitious domain name "yourdomain.com" will be used. During your actual setup, use the domain name assigned to you in place of yourdomain.com.
Incoming Mail Server:
mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server:
smtp.yourdomain.com
E-mail username:
Use your full e-mail address
Note: Our servers require SMTP or outgoing mail authentication. This is usually a check box during the setup of your account inside your e-mail program.
